Don't Make a Triangle
The computer will color edges Red, and you will color edges blue. The rules are simple, alternate moves with the computer, the first player to make a triangle all their color loses. To make a move, click on an edge. The currently active edge will be colored green. If you are using internet explorer and can't see the game, you might need to allow active content by clicking the info bar at the top of the screen.
You will probably find at first that this game is very hard to win. This is an example of a combinatorial game (well, not exactly, but it can be rephrased as one), which means that one player can always force a win with perfect play. For this game, that player is player 2 (you). However, in order to win, you must play
perfectly A single mistake, and the computer can take over and you no longer have a chance. To get help, you can, after you've made two moves, press the 'h' key. This toggles the hint function, and when on, any winning moves you have will be colored cyan. If hints are on and no cyan edges are visible, then a mistake has already been made. I won't reveal what your first two moves should be to set up a win, I'll let you figure that out. Enjoy!
